About the Role

We’re looking for Cable Installer Technicians to join a team delivering structured cabling projects within high-performance data centre environments. This hands-on role offers the opportunity to work on copper and fibre-optic cabling installations, supporting the deployment of critical network infrastructure.

Working alongside experienced technicians, you’ll be involved in cable installation, routing, labelling, testing support, and maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety, and quality throughout each project. Whether you’re starting your career or already have experience in structured cabling, this is an excellent opportunity to develop your technical skills while contributing to the successful delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation and routing of structured cabling by preparing materials, setting up work areas, and supporting cable pulling activities.
• Carry out entry-level installation tasks, including cable dressing, securing cables, installing cable management components and handling equipment safely.
• Ensure cables and equipment are accurately labelled and support basic quality checks to maintain installation standards.
• Follow all site safety procedures, PPE requirements and report any hazards or installation issues promptly.
• Maintain clean and organised work areas while supporting smooth shift transitions and proper tool management.

Skills & Experience

• Ability to follow work instructions accurately and operate safely within construction or data centre environments.
• Dependable team player with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn structured cabling practices.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and confidence using common hand tools.
• Good attention to detail when identifying cable types, routing and labelling requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• OSHA 10 certification (or equivalent) is advantageous.
• Exposure to low-voltage or structured cabling installations would be beneficial.
