Key Responsibilities

1. Food Preparation

• Wash, peel, trim, cut, slice, dice, and shred vegetables such as onions, cabbage and other raw ingredients.
• Prepare raw materials according to production schedules and product specifications.
• Sort and inspect ingredients to ensure freshness and quality.
• Remove damaged, spoiled, or contaminated materials before processing.
• Weigh ingredients according to production requirements.

2. Production Support

• Supply prepared ingredients to the production line in a timely manner.
• Pack finished or semi-finished products according to company procedures.
• Meet daily production targets.

3. Quality Control

• Ensure all food products meet company quality standards.
• Identify and report any quality defects or abnormalities.
• Follow product specifications and production instructions.

4. Food Safety & Hygiene

• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP, and company hygiene procedures.
• Wash and sanitize equipment, knives, cutting boards, tables, and workstations.
• Maintain personal hygiene standards at all times.
• Wear appropriate PPE such as hairnets, gloves, masks, aprons, and safety shoes.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of food ingredients.

5. Workplace Safety

• Follow all Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies and procedures.
• Use knives and cutting equipment safely.
• Operate vegetable cutting or food processing machines safely where applicable.
• Report accidents, injuries, unsafe conditions, or damaged equipment immediately.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S principles.

6. Cleaning & Housekeeping

• Clean production equipment after use.
• Dispose of food waste according to company procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of preparation areas throughout the shift.

Pay: From RM1,700.00 per month
