Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of experience in Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) construction. The role involves supporting project execution and coordination for specialized systems including fire fighting systems, cold & hot water systems, and medical gas pipeline systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordination, and execution of M&E construction works.
• Supervise site activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
• Support project engineers in preparing technical reports, drawings, and documentation.
• Monitor progress and provide updates on site activities, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
• Liaise with contractors, consultants, and suppliers to resolve technical and site issues.
• Conduct inspections and testing of installed systems (fire fighting, water supply, medical gas pipelines).
• Ensure adherence to local codes, regulations, and industry standards.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in M&E construction projects.
• Hands-on experience with fire fighting systems, cold & hot water systems, and medical gas pipeline systems.
• Strong knowledge of construction practices, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work on-site and travel as required.

Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
