Full Time IT Infrastructure Engineer (Data Center) Jobs, Salary up to MYR 10,500 in Consultants Johor - Maukerja

Location: Nusajaya / Kempas/ Ulu Tiram - Johor
Salary: RM8000 – RM10,000
Contract: 6months contract
Working Hours: Rotational Shift (Day & Night)

Responsibilities

• Support Data Centre operations in a 24/7/365 environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve server, network, storage, and software application issues.
• Monitor, maintain, and support production server hardware and software.
• Assist with server operating system upgrades, patching, and bug fixes.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and basic switch-related problems.
• Perform rack, stack, cabling, installation, and decommissioning activities within the Data Centre.
• Participate in on-call support and shift rotation schedules.

Requirements

• Good knowledge and hands-on experience with Linux operating systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in servers, storage, networking, and software applications.
• Experience working in a Data Centre environment is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Data Centre cabling and infrastructure is preferred.
• able to lift, carry, and install server equipment weighing up to 18kg.
• Able to speak and write in English fluently

Job Type: Contract

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM10,500.00 per month
