Role Description This full-time, on-site AI and Agentic Platform Developer (Intern) role is based in Penang, Malaysia. The intern will assist in designing, implementing, and testing components of the Teragrid agentic platform, including AI agents and supporting services. Daily tasks may include developing and debugging software modules, training and evaluating models, integrating APIs, and contributing to pattern recognition and NLP features. The intern will collaborate with senior engineers and data scientists, participate in code reviews, document technical work, and help improve system performance and reliability. The role offers hands-on experience with production-level AI systems and exposure to enterprise use cases.
Qualifications
- Strong foundational knowledge in Computer Science and Software Development, including data structures, algorithms, and version control.
- Understanding of Pattern Recognition and Neural Networks, with the ability to apply these concepts to real-world data and agent behavior.
- Familiarity with Natural Language Processing (NLP), including text processing, language models, and conversational AI techniques.
- Experience with at least one programming language commonly used in AI (such as Python), and basic proficiency in libraries or frameworks for machine learning.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a related field.
- Ability to work on-site in Penang, collaborate within a team, and communicate technical ideas clearly.
- Interest in agentic AI platforms, enterprise automation, and learning from real-world projects; prior internship or project experience in AI is an advantage.
