Job Summary

The CNC Operator is responsible for operating CNC machines to produce precision metal components according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality requirements. The role ensures production targets are achieved while maintaining product quality and workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Turning and/or CNC Milling machines.
• Load raw materials and unload finished products.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and job orders.
• Measure finished parts using measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections to ensure product quality.
• Adjust machine offsets and tool wear compensation when required.
• Replace cutting tools and perform basic machine maintenance.
• Report machine abnormalities, quality issues, or equipment breakdowns to the supervisor.
• Maintain accurate production records and inspection reports.
• Follow company SOPs, safety regulations, and 5S practices.
• Ensure production targets and quality standards are met.

Job Requirements

• Minimum SPM, SKM, or equivalent qualification.
• At least 1 year of experience operating CNC Turning or CNC Milling machines in a metal manufacturing environment. (Fresh graduates with relevant technical training are encouraged to apply.)
• Able to read engineering drawings.
• Familiar with measuring instruments (e.g., vernier caliper, micrometer).
• Basic knowledge of CNC machine operations and machining processes.
• Willing to work shifts and overtime when required.
• Good teamwork, discipline, and attention to detail.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM1,800.00 per month
