Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for EAGLE’s entire product line, including 5G, LTE/LTE-A, UMTS/HSPA, GSM/GPRS, and other wireless technologies.

• Conduct schematic reviews for customer hardware designs to ensure correct integration of EAGLE modules.

• Support customers with hardware interface bring-up and debugging, including I2C, UART, USB, and SPI.

• Assist customers with Linux-based system integration, configuration, and driver-level troubleshooting.

• Apply a structured, methodical troubleshooting process to identify root causes across hardware and software layers.

• Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support, including product demonstrations and integration assistance.

• Deliver technical training and documentation to customers and internal teams to support product adoption.

• Support field trials and validation of wireless communication systems in real-world environments.

• Stay current with industry trends across cellular technologies (5G, LTE, UMTS, GSM) and Linux-based embedded systems.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field.

• 3+ years in a Field Application Engineer or similar technical support role.

• Hands-on experience with Linux operating systems in an embedded or customer-support context.

• Experience reviewing hardware schematics and supporting customer hardware bring-up.

• Working knowledge of Linux operating systems and command-line tools.

• Ability to read and review hardware schematics.

• Basic understanding of how device drivers work and interact with hardware.

• Familiarity with common hardware interfaces: I2C, UART, USB, and SPI.

• Strong, structured troubleshooting process for diagnosing hardware and software issues.

• Solid understanding of wireless technologies and protocols: 5G, LTE/LTE-A, UMTS/HSPA, GSM/GPRS.

• Experience with modem integration, device driver development, or kernel-level debugging.

• Familiarity with RF fundamentals and antenna considerations.
