Full Time Assembly Technician Jobs, Salary up to MYR 3,500 in Kobay Technology Berhad Pulau Pinang - Maukerja

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical modules and systems according to engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Read and interpret assembly drawings, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and technical documentation.
• Perform mechanical fitting, wiring, and basic electrical assembly as required.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments correctly and safely.
• Conduct self-inspection to ensure assemblies meet quality standards and specifications.
• Identify and report assembly issues, defects, or non-conformities to the supervisor.
• Support testing, troubleshooting, and rework activities when required.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in accordance with 5S and safety policies.
• Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining product quality.
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor or management.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Diploma or Technical Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, or a related Engineering field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in module and system assembly.
• Experience in reading assembly drawings and work instructions.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools, measuring instruments, and assembly processes.
• Soldering skills will be an added advantage.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Good problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Willing to work overtime when required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in precision equipment or automation machine assembly.
• Familiarity with ISO quality standards and manufacturing practices.
• Knowledge of pneumatic components and basic electrical wiring is an advantage.
• Understanding of ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) handling procedures is preferred.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
