Role: Technical Support Analyst (Project Support)

Job Duties

Responsible for supporting server and network infrastructure and defining and implementing upgrades to existing systems or introduction of new infrastructure.

• Administer and support server and network infrastructure.
• Complete all necessary daily routine system administration tasks so that systems operate correctly.
• Ensure that systems are effectively and constantly monitored using automated tools and manage alerts to provide advance or immediate notice of incidents or failures.
• Complete systems patching according to best practice and supplier update schedules.
• Ensure that all operational documentation required to ensure proper routine administration is up-to date and that disaster recovery documentation is complete.
• Manage escalation of all calls raised to 3rd party suppliers for 3rd line support.
  

Job Requirements

• Diploma in IT or related field
• Candidate must have at least 3 years and above Desktop Support operations and Infrastructure experience
• Candidate with vendor certifications such as CompTIA A+ and ITIL Foundation Certificate will be an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows desktop operating systems applications and mobile operating systems iOS and Android.
• Good knowledge of PC hardware and good all-round troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication, interpersonal, problem-solving skills, organized and focused.
• Experience in operating IT in a medium-large multi-national corporation.
• Experience in a dynamic and changing environment.
• Experience in managing 3rd party providers.
