Full Time Quantity Surveyor Jobs, Salary up to MYR 3,500 in RM Leopad Johor - Maukerja

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and valuations for blasting and painting works.
• Review project specifications, drawings, and technical documents to determine material, manpower, and labour requirements.
• Monitor project expenditures and ensure costs remain within the approved budget.
• Prepare and manage project claims, variations and other contractual documentation.
• Liaise with clients, project managers, procurement teams, and subcontractors to ensure effective cost control and project efficiency.
• Conduct site visits to verify work progress, measurements, and quantities.
• Assist in tender preparation, subcontractor evaluation, quotation comparison, and contract administration.
• Maintain accurate records of project costs, measurements, claims, and variations.
• Support the project team in identifying potential cost savings and improving overall project profitability.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of working experience in Blasting & Painting or related industrial/coating works.
• Good knowledge of blasting and painting processes, materials, and project costing.
• Experience in quantity measurement, costing, valuation, claims, and variation orders will be an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Good analytical, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to conduct site visits and travel to project locations when required.
• Able to work independently as well as effectively with project and operations teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
