Site Engineer

Job Description

• To manage and supervise the technical and engineering aspects of construction works on site, ensuring that works are carried out safely, according to approved drawings and specifications, within the required quality standards and project schedule.

• Supervise daily construction activities and ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications and method statements.

• Monitor subcontractors, workers and site activities.

• Ensure construction works are completed according to the approved programme

• Review construction drawings, shop drawings and technical specifications.

• Coordinate with consultants, architects, subcontractors and suppliers on technical matters.

• Identify technical problems and propose practical solutions.

• Prepare and submit Requests for Information (RFI) and technical submissions where required.

• Check setting-out, levels, dimensions and site measurements.

• Ensure construction works comply with project specifications and approved standards.

• Conduct inspections and coordinate inspections with consultants.

• Prepare inspection requests, checklists and relevant quality records.

• Monitor rectification of defective or non-conforming works.

• Attend site meetings and technical coordination meetings.

Requirements:

• 3 years’ experience in construction field and have experience in high rise construction

• Candidate must be an aggressive people and willing to take challenges

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or similar

• Ability to speak 3 languages such as Mdarin, English and Mlay

• Full-Time position ( 6 days works)

• Based in Penang Island
