Project Manager – Data Center Cooling / HVAC

About the Opportunity

SynapsCo is supporting an international engineering organization specializing in mission-critical cooling solutions for Data Center projects across Southeast Asia.

We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager – Data Center Cooling / HVAC to lead the execution and delivery of projects in Johor Bahru.

Preferred Background

We are looking for professionals with experience in:

• Data Center / Mission-Critical projects
• Data Center Cooling / HVAC systems
• CRAC / CRAH / Precision Cooling
• Chillers / Chilled Water Systems
• HVAC / MEP Project Management
• Project planning and scheduling
• Contractor and subcontractor management
• Vendor and procurement coordination
• Budget and cost control
• Client and stakeholder management
• Testing, commissioning, handover, and project close-out

Experience managing Data Center, mission-critical, HVAC, MEP, or cooling infrastructure projects would be highly advantageous.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, Building Services, Project Management, or related discipline.
• Proven project management experience within HVAC, MEP, Data Center, or mission-critical infrastructure.
• Strong project planning, coordination, and leadership capabilities.
• Experience managing contractors, vendors, clients, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Good commercial awareness and understanding of project budgets and schedules.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
