Job Summary

The Planner is responsible for coordinating production schedules, managing material procurement, and ensuring timely delivery of products. This role involves collaborating with internal teams, and external suppliers to meet production and shipment deadlines efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

- Issue new lots based on customer service order lists.

- Calculate required materials based on drawings and communicate with buyers for purchase requests.

- Send out new orders to external fabrication suppliers.

- Purchase or prepare materials needed for external fabrication.

- Prepare job cards and material forms for each machine and assembly process.

- Update daily production schedules and monitor progress.

- Develop and present weekly production plans during meetings.

- Schedule assembly activities according to customer service requirements.

- Ensure production schedules stay on track and coordinate with QA to meet quantity and quality standards for shipments.

- Follow up with machinists regarding machine changeovers and adjustments.

- Coordinate with buyers to ensure material arrivals align with scheduling for machining.

- Summarize fast-moving assembly parts to maintain material availability.

- Close completed jobs and update cycle times in the job monitoring system after machining and assembly are completed.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in production planning, manufacturing, or related fields.

- Strong organizational and communication skills.

- Ability to coordinate among multiple departments and external suppliers.

- Proficiency in production scheduling software and MS Office tools.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,999.00 per month
