Warehouse Operations

Manage the daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, issuing, and replenishing stock.

Verify incoming goods against Purchase Orders (POs), Delivery Orders (DOs), and invoices.

Ensure proper storage of frozen, chilled, and dry products in accordance with food safety and quality standards.

Implement and monitor FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and FEFO (First-Expired, First-Out) inventory practices.

Maintain accurate inventory records in the ERP or inventory management system.

Conduct regular stock counts, cycle counts, and annual stock takes.

Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.

Coordinate stock transfers between warehouses and retail outlets.

Ensure warehouse cleanliness, organization, and compliance with safety regulations.

Supervise warehouse assistants and allocate daily tasks.

Procurement

Source and evaluate suppliers for products, consumables, packaging materials, and operational supplies.

Obtain quotations and conduct price comparisons to ensure cost-effective purchasing.

Prepare Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and Purchase Orders (POs) in accordance with company procedures.

Monitor order status and ensure timely delivery from suppliers.

Liaise with suppliers regarding delivery schedules, pricing, product quality, shortages, and discrepancies.

Build and maintain strong supplier relationships while negotiating competitive pricing and favourable terms.

Monitor inventory levels and initiate procurement to prevent stock shortages or overstocking.

Coordinate with the Finance Department regarding invoice verification and payment processing.

Ensure procurement documentation is complete and properly maintained.

Support vendor evaluations and performance reviews.

General Responsibilities

Prepare warehouse and procurement reports for Management.

Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety standards

(GMP, HACCP, HALAL where applicable), and workplace safety requirements.

Assist during internal and external audits.

Identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy, warehouse efficiency, and procurement costs.

Perform any other duties assigned by Management.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
