JOB SCOPE PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR
1. Lead and supervise daily production activities to ensure operations run according to the production plan and schedule.
- Allocate manpower, assign daily tasks, and monitor staff performance and productivity.
- Monitor production output, workflow, manpower utilization, and overall production efficiency.
- Ensure daily production targets, quality standards, and productivity KPIs are achieved.
- Ensure all raw materials, packaging materials, labels, tools, equipment, and other resources are available before and during production.
- Supervise production activities including sorting, packing, labelling, and storage.
- Monitor proper handling and storage of products, including temperature control and FIFO practices.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, GMP, hygiene, food safety, and workplace safety requirements.
- Monitor barcode, product coding, and labelling accuracy to ensure products are correctly identified and traceable.
- Identify production issues, wastage, downtime, and manpower-related problems, and take appropriate corrective action.
- Coordinate with QA/QC, Warehouse, Maintenance, Procurement, and other relevant departments to resolve operational issues promptly.
- Ensure production equipment, tools, and work areas are clean, safe, and ready for operation.
- Prepare and maintain daily production reports, records, checklists, and other production documentation.
- Monitor production wastage, rejection, and productivity, and implement actions to improve efficiency.
- Conduct regular checks on production processes to ensure consistency and compliance with standards.
- Report major production, quality, manpower, equipment, or safety issues to the Production Manager / Management.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by the management.
Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in production, preferably in food manufacturing.
- Previous experience in a Production Supervisor role is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of GMP, hygiene, food safety, FIFO, and production procedures.
- Able to lead, supervise, and manage production operators effectively.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Able to prepare and maintain production records and reports.
- Computer literate; experience with production/inventory systems is an advantage.
Working Time : Monday to Saturday (7am to 4pm)
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,600.00 per month
