Job Summary
This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to gain exposure to equipment engineering, automation systems, and Industry 4.0 initiatives within a high-tech manufacturing environment. The intern will work alongside experienced engineers to support equipment performance improvement through digitalization, online monitoring, smart device applications, and operational data analytics.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support equipment engineering activities including automation systems, data analytics, and Industry 4.0 initiatives within the manufacturing environment.
- Contribute to internship projects focused on equipment performance improvement through digitalization, online monitoring systems, smart device applications, and operational data analysis.
- Assist in developing dashboards and reports to visualize equipment performance data and support data-driven decision making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Equipment, Process, IT) to identify improvement opportunities and support IoT / smart device deployment.
- Participate in troubleshooting activities and document findings, standard operating procedures, and technical reports.
REQUIRED:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (final-year student), available for internship of at least 3 months starting October 2026.
PREFERRED:
- Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE)
- Mechatronics Engineering
- Automation / Instrumentation Engineering
- Computer Engineering
SKILLS
- Programming and data analytics (e.g., Python, SQL, or equivalent)
- Dashboard development (Power BI preferred)
- Basic knowledge of automation and control systems
- Hands-on experience with IoT or smart device projects (academic or personal projects acceptable)
- Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Proactive learning attitude and interest in manufacturing technology and Industry 4.0
