About the Job
This role is responsible for planning and coordinating production schedules to ensure on-time delivery while optimizing resources and material availability. This role works closely with Production, Purchasing, Logistics, and Customer Service to support smooth operations, resolve planning issues, and meet customer requirements.
Working location: Kulai, Johor
Working Hours: Mon – Fri, 8am – 5pm
Job Responsibilities:
- Plan and schedule production based on customer orders and delivery requirements.
- Release Work Orders (WO) according to the production plan and material readiness.
- Monitor production progress and adjust schedules when necessary to meet delivery commitments.
- Review material availability and coordinate with the Purchasing team to resolve shortages.
- Work closely with Logistics to ensure timely material kitting and production support.
- Execute and monitor MRP planning to support production requirements.
- Coordinate with Customer Service on delivery schedules and finished goods status.
- Track work order completion and ensure production targets are achieved.
- Identify planning issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve them promptly.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning efficiency.
- Perform other duties assigned by the superior or management.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Production Planning, Material Planning, or Supply Chain Planning.
- Experience in Semiconductor, Electronics, EMS, or Manufacturing industry is preferred.
- Good understanding of production planning, MRP, inventory control, and ERP systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Able to prioritize tasks, work independently, and perform well in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and coordination skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
