Job Summary

We are looking for a QA Engineer with hands-on experience in Front-End of Line (FOL) and End-of-Line (EOL) semiconductor manufacturing. The successful candidate will be responsible for quality assurance, process monitoring, defect analysis, customer quality requirements, and continuous improvement to ensure products meet quality and reliability standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain quality performance for FOL and EOL semiconductor processes.
• Analyze process and product defects and drive effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and support problem-solving activities using 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, and other quality tools.
• Monitor quality KPIs, yield, defect trends, and process performance.
• Work closely with Process, Equipment, Production, and NPI Engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
• Support NPI, new process qualification, product transfer, and engineering builds.
• Develop and maintain quality documents, inspection standards, control plans, FMEA, and work instructions.
• Lead or support internal, customer, and process audits.
• Handle customer complaints and prepare investigation and corrective action reports.
• Drive continuous improvement projects to improve yield, reduce defects, and enhance process capability.
• Support SPC implementation and monitor critical process parameters.
• Ensure compliance with company quality systems, procedures, and semiconductor industry requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing, Electronics, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, or related field.
• 2–5 years of QA/Quality Engineering experience in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Experience in FOL and/or EOL semiconductor processes is highly preferred.
• Good knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes, quality control, and defect analysis.
• Experience with SPC, FMEA, Control Plan, 8D, CAPA, RCA, and continuous improvement.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Willing to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Preferred Experience

• Semiconductor assembly, test, or manufacturing experience.
• Experience handling customer quality issues and audits.
• Knowledge of FOL/EOL process flow and quality control points.
• Experience with yield improvement and defect reduction projects.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 or relevant semiconductor quality standards is an advantage.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
