Summary

The Engineering Intern/Trainee will support the engineering team in the design, development, documentation, and implementation of mechanical, electrical, and mechatronics systems for various projects. The role provides hands-on exposure to engineering design, technical documentation, project development, and problem-solving while working closely with engineers and other departments to ensure project requirements, quality standards, and timelines are achieved.

The position is open to students from Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, with responsibilities assigned according to the individual's academic background, skills, and project requirements.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of engineering principles, technical drawing, development, documentation and problem-solving methodologies.
• Basic proficiency in relevant engineering/design software such as SolidWorks or other related software will be an advantage.
• Willingness to learn and develop technical skills through hands-on project experience.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work on-site in Penang, collaborate in a team environment, and follow safety and quality procedures.
• Willingness to learn, adapt to new tasks, and take initiative under supervision.
