About the role

This role involves participating in and assisting with the implementation of staff development programs and company improvement projects. You will prepare project briefs and feasibility studies to evaluate new projects and proposed improvement plans, and execute detailed implementation plans considering manpower, time-scheduled tasks, and cost estimation.

Key responsibilities

• Participate and assist in implementation of staff development programs and company improvement or development projects

• Prepare project briefs and feasibility studies for evaluating new projects or proposed improvement plans

• Execute detailed implementation plans for projects with respect to manpower, time scheduled tasks, and costs estimation

• Monitor work progress, anticipate and resolve problems and contractual disputes

• Ensure quality objectives and targets are met

• Authorize stopping production to correct quality problems

• Assist in ISO and Quality Management System (QMS) implementation

• Review current work processes and procedures across the company and identify areas of improvement

• Standardize and formalize work processes and continually monitor project outcomes to review performance and make adjustments

• Proactively involve in cost reduction activities

About you

• Tertiary degree in Lab Technology; Statistics or at least Diploma in same discipline is an added advantage

• Formal qualification in auditing would be an advantage

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in textile manufacturing industry or 1+ years in Quality Systems/Investigations-CAPA and/or documentation roles

• Experience in ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 is a good advantage

• Experience in textile manufacturing plant processes is an advantage

• Ability to develop rapport and work effectively with a diverse range of people, sharing knowledge and skills to deliver shared goals
