Job Description: Supervisor – Meat & Seafood

Location: Village Grocer, SKS City Mall, Johor Bahru

Department: Fresh (Meat & Seafood)

Role Overview

Responsible for supervising the daily operations of the Meat & Seafood Department, ensuring product freshness, excellent customer service, proper stock management, and compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of the meat and seafood department.
• Ensure freshness, quality, and proper display of meat and seafood products.
• Monitor stock levels, ordering, receiving, and inventory control.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene
• Train, schedule, and supervise department staff.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests professionally.
• Monitor product pricing, labeling, and promotions.
• Reduce waste and shrinkage through proper handling and storage.
• Coordinate with suppliers and management regarding stock availability.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and storage rooms.
• Ensure all products are properly cut, packed, and displayed according to company standards.
• Prepare daily sales and operational reports.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience in meat, seafood, retail, supermarket, or food service operations (2 years).
• Knowledge of meat cuts, seafood handling, and cold-chain procedures.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Basic computer and inventory management knowledge.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From RM2,500.00 per month
