Full Time BOM Engineer Jobs, in Fastrain Pulau Pinang - Maukerja

Tight collaboration with the engineering teams throughout the product development process.

Tracking project progress in PLM Teamcenter against the product development schedule.

Execute approval workflows in each project stage ensuring prompt action.

Generate Super BOMs and SKU BOMs for project teams.

Drive BOM accuracy and consistency.

Ensure key project documents are stored and managed in the system.

Generate periodic reports according to request.

Generate cost reduction and material optimizations ideas.

Build and direct manufacturing engineering department team on all aspects of critical manufacturing improvement programs – design & automation; development qualification; delivery into production.

Drive cross functional project with Supply Chain, Production, R&D and Quality.

Coordinate the design and development of Automation lines, tools and fixtures required to perform processes of new and existing production lines.

Coordinate with production and quality departments to implement standard work instructions, processes and procedures to ensure absolute best quality product is produced.

Coordinate DFM process, including design reviews and sample evaluation.

Provide technical support for vendor tooling and interact with vendors to procure tools and equipment.

Lead new product production pilot run and give modification suggestion and request to NPI team. Provide trainings to production and manufacturing team.

Develop and set visual workmanship standards and key procedures.

Optimize workshop and facilities layout. If necessary, restructure job duties, reorganize workflow, relocate workstations to improve worker efficiency and reduce waste of materials and utilities.

Bachelor or higher in Electronics, Mechanical or similar major.

5 years working experience in manufacturing & quality assurance.

Familiar with ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, IATF16949.

Ability to assist and review documents.

Excellence in MS such as Word, Excel, Power Point and Minitab.

Working independently and with minimum supervision.

Show strong leadership and self-driven motivation to achieve excellent result.

5% travel required.
