About the Role

IPOH EYE SPECIALIST CENTRE (IE CENTRE SDN BHD) is seeking a dedicated and passionate Staff Nurse to join our healthcare team in Perak. As a full-time member of our team, you will play an important role in providing safe, efficient, and high-quality nursing care to our patients.

What You'll Be Doing

• Possess at least a Diploma in Nursing for the Staff Nurse position.
• Attend to patients and perform front-desk duties, including patient registration, appointment scheduling, telephone enquiries, and other related tasks.
• Communicate with patients and clients in a polite, courteous, and professional manner at all times.
• Assist doctors during consultations and examinations when required.
• Dispense medications as prescribed by doctors, ensuring the correct medication, dosage, and instructions are provided to patients.
• Perform basic diagnostic tests and prepare procedure rooms as directed by the doctor.
• Assist surgeons and the clinical team in the operating room during surgical procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised clinical environment.
• Adhere to all relevant healthcare regulations, infection-control practices, and centre protocols.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Manager or Doctor.

What We're Looking For

• Diploma in Nursing or relevant nursing qualification
• Previous experience in a clinical or healthcare setting will be an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good attention to detail and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Compassionate, responsible, and patient-centred approach to care.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
