ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Drive EHS regulatory requirements and compliance with relevant licenses and permits secured timely

2. Drive effective Qdos EHS programs to cultivate strong EHS awareness, compliance and commitment

3. Build up strong EHS competency and industry knowhow to support new business and enable cost effective EHS implementation

RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Drive EHS regulatory requirements and compliance with relevant licenses and permits secured timely
Develop Qdos EHS regulatory master plan to ensure timely license/permit ((eg. yearly fire drill, certificate of fitness, poison licence etc)  approval with all risks effectively mitigated
Maintain and update all documentations per permits and regulatory requirements
Co-ordinate inspection and audit by relevant regulatory agencies (DOSH, NIOSH, JKKP, BOMBA etc) with all findings are effectively closed
Be the Qdos contact to all regulatory agencies to ensure effective two-way communications and stakeholder management

2.Drive effective Qdos EHS programs to cultivate strong EHS awareness, compliance and commitment

Maintain and enhance Qdos EHS policies, guidelines and procedures according to the latest regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Establish Qdos EHS KPI and goal setting to drive for continuous improvement
Perform investigation on EHS incident to ensure effective corrective actions
Lead Emergency Response Team (ERT) to ensure effective emergency evaluation plan and readiness

3.Build up strong EHS competency and industry knowhow to support new business and enable cost effective EHS implementation
Perform EHS early stage risk assessment, planning and final buyoff on new facilities or new equipments
Perform EHS cost analysis and identify cost effective solutions within regulatory requirements

REQUIREMENTS

1.Diploma/Degree in any discipline preferably environment/occupation ,safety & health

2.Min. 3 years of  Safety & Health experience in manufacturing industry

3.Knowledge of ISO14001, incident report & current Safety & Health Legislations

4.Environment & First Aid Qualification

5.Competent certificate in Schedule Waste / Scrubber / IETS, or Certified SHO.

6.A certified Safety & Health Officer (by NIOSH) is highly advantageous

7.Independent, sharp-minded , positive attitudes, good team player & leader

8.Strong MS PowerPoint presentation skill & training skill.
