Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Quality Supervisor to lead and coordinate line inspection activities for sub-assembly and full-assembly production processes. You will organize team workflows, drive adherence to quality assurance standards, manage inspector performance, and resolve day-to-day work quality issues alongside production and engineering teams.
Job Description / Key Responsibilities
- Team Supervision & Workflow: Organize daily QA/QC workflows, delegate inspection tasks, monitor team productivity, and provide hands-on coaching and feedback.
- Assembly Inspection Management: Supervise and coordinate inspectors testing assembled components, parts, and sub-assemblies through all assembly stages.
- Quality Standards & Scheduling: Review QA instructions, assembly specifications, and production schedules to determine inspection methods, operation sequences, and task assignments.
- Problem Solving & Escalation: Review inspection reports and collaborate with production, engineering, and management to solve assembly quality issues.
- Training & Supplier Coordination: Assign qualified inspectors to train new hires, check raw material/component quality, and notify suppliers of material rejection reasons.
- Operational Oversight: Ensure establishment and regulatory standards are met, release FG shipments, and support smooth line operations.
Job Requirements
- Education: Diploma or SPM certificate.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a QA/QC manufacturing environment (preferably handling assembly line operations).
- Quality & Technical Skills: Knowledge of Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) hard and soft cores, including Statistical Process Control (SPC).
- Documentation & Blueprint Skills: Ability to read quality assurance instructions, assembly specifications, and production plans.
- Software Proficiency: Competent in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for quality reporting and tracking.
- Leadership & Communication: Strong supervisory, training, and cross-departmental coordination skills with production, engineering, and suppliers.
Pay: RM3,300.00 - RM4,800.00 per month
