Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead end-to-end supply chain operations, including sourcing, procurement, planning, inventory control, warehouse, logistics, and customer fulfilment. This role is responsible for ensuring material availability, cost optimisation, supplier performance, inventory efficiency, and on-time delivery to support manufacturing and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead overall supply chain functions including procurement, sourcing, planning, inventory, warehouse, logistics, and order fulfilment.
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Drive supplier sourcing, negotiation, cost reduction, payment terms, lead time improvement, and supplier performance.
- Work closely with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Sales teams to support production and customer delivery.
- Monitor demand planning, production planning, material readiness, and inventory control.
- Improve PR/PO conversion, material fulfilment, supplier delivery, and customer OTD performance.
- Manage inventory levels, excess and obsolete stock, liability exposure, and working capital efficiency.
- Lead S&OP, demand planning, ERP/MRP review, and supply chain reporting.
- Identify process improvement opportunities using lean, digital tools, ERP reports, and KPI dashboards.
- Lead, coach, and develop supply chain team members across multiple functions.
- Support NPI, customer transition, escalation, and business-critical supply chain issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
- Minimum 10–15 years’ experience in supply chain, procurement, planning, or materials management.
- At least 5 years in managerial / leadership role.
- Strong experience in manufacturing environment, preferably EMS, semiconductor, precision machining, sheet metal, assembly, or electronics.
- Strong knowledge of sourcing, procurement, planning, inventory, warehouse, logistics, and customer fulfilment.
- Familiar with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, BAAN, Epicor, or similar.
- Strong negotiation, supplier management, cost reduction, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work cross-functionally with internal teams, customers, and suppliers.
- Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- CIPS / PMP / Lean / Six Sigma certification will be an added advantage.
Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM20,000.00 per month
