Full Time Product Engineer Jobs, Salary up to MYR 4,500 in CTI International (M) Johor - Maukerja

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lead product technical ownership from RFQ/NPI stage until production handover, ensuring customer requirements, specifications, BOM, module assembly drawings, module interfaces, and revision controls are accurately translated into manufacturing execution.
• Review customer drawings, 3D models, specifications, assembly requirements, and module integration requirements to identify technical risks, manufacturability concerns, tolerance stack-up issues, interface compatibility, and material compatibility during quote and NPI stages.
• Coordinate and drive print & process review activities including print review, BOM validation, material selection, routing definition, assembly sequence review, clarification tracking, and technical alignment between customer, engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams.
• Prepare and manage customer technical clarification documents such as PR/SPS/ECO/ECN responses, deviation requests, design comparison reports, assembly impact assessments, and technical presentation packages.
• Support product structure management including BOM creation, revision updates, component substitutions, material PN mapping, assembly configuration control, and ERP/MOM data accuracy maintenance.
• Work closely with Process Engineering and Manufacturing teams to ensure product design intent, critical dimensions, assembly requirements, cleanliness requirements, module interfaces, fit & function requirements, and customer specifications are achievable and sustainable for production.
• Lead root cause analysis and technical troubleshooting for product-related quality issues, dimensional mismatches, assembly concerns, fit-up issues, cosmetic defects, functional failures, and customer complaints during NPI and HVM stages.
• Coordinate qualification activities including FAI support, fit/function validation, material verification, design validation, assembly verification, golden unit side-by-side reviews, and engineering change implementation.
• Ensure all product-related documentation including drawings, OMS, work instructions, assembly references, labeling requirements, process documentation, and technical records are updated, controlled, and released according to company procedures.
• Act as the primary technical focal point for customer product inquiries, revision changes, material clarifications, assembly-related technical issues, and cross-functional communication to ensure timely resolution and successful project execution.

Qualifications:

• Strong capability in engineering drawing interpretation, BOM review, and technical specification analysis.
• Good problem-solving and cross-functional coordination skills for NPI, manufacturing, and customer technical issues.
• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronic or related engineering field with minimum 2 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Strong capability in engineering drawings interpretation, BOM review, and technical issue solving.
• Proficient in CAD software (SolidWorks/AutoCAD), engineering documentation, ERP/MRP, Microsoft Office, technical reporting and project tracking.
