Full Time Maintenance Technician Jobs, in The Prestige Hotel Pulau Pinang - Maukerja

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections of hotel facilities, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and equipment

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff, troubleshooting and resolving issues efficiently

• Conduct preventative maintenance to minimise downtime and extend the lifespan of building systems and equipment

• Repair or replace faulty equipment, fixtures, and furnishings throughout the hotel

• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections

• Assist in coordinating with external contractors and vendors when specialised repairs are required

• Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards

• Monitor energy consumption and suggest improvements to enhance operational efficiency

• Perform general cleaning and minor renovations as needed to maintain the hotel's appearance

What we're looking for

• Fresh graduates welcomed

• Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration, or a related field.

• Knowledge of electrical systems, air conditioning, plumbing, and general building maintenance.

• Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy items, work at heights, and perform demanding physical tasks

• Able to work on shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.

• Responsible, hardworking, and able to work independently as well as in a team.

• A commitment to safety and adherence to health and safety regulations
