Full Time Safety - Health Officer Jobs, Salary up to MYR 6,000 in CTI International (Malaysia) Johor - Maukerja

Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate all EHS matters related with operations and contractors in ensuring that the operations are comply to the requirements (policies/guidelines related to EHS).
• Advise the Company on the measure to be taken in the interest of safety, health and Environmental of employees. To be innovate and provide solution on the improvement on EHS related matter.
• Inspect the work place to determine if machinery, plant, equipment, substance, appliance, process at the work place are safe. Take note of workers safety concerns and immediately act on them.
• To conduct regular workplace inspection to ensure health and safety of workplace to reduce the incident rate.
• Investigate any accident, near miss accident, dangerous occurrence, occupational poisoning, occupational disease which happen in work place. Introduces measures that will help reduce accidents within the workplace.
• Assist to continuously improve the ESH Management System by coordinating and / or conduction regular internal audits, awareness briefings, trainings and induction programme.
• Attend to DOSH, DOE, Bomba officer inspection and inquiries
• Prepare and compile documents for government authorities’ audit and take action to address the audit findings
• Ensure reporting (incident/accident or routine reporting) to authorities according to legal requirements
• Liaise with relevant authorities to ensure that any ESH matter is attended to and resolved promptly and prudently.
• Responsible for the upkeep of documentation of the relevant ESH documents and data.
• Keep up to date with EHS related new legislation and ensuring compliance with local legal regulations and requirements
• To handle fire extinguisher matter including renewal
• To perform any other duties from superior or designated person from time to time.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• DOSH certification as a registered Safety and Health Officer (SHO).
• Preferably with at least 3 years of working experience in Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE/ESH), particularly in a manufacturing environment.
• Valid DOSH Green Book / SHO registration will be an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health-related regulations, standards, and practices.
• Result-oriented, with a strong sense of responsibility, urgency, and commitment.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Able to conduct presentations and ESH training effectively.
