Overall Job Responsibility

• To support precision measurement and quality assurance activities. The role involves CMM programming, dimensional inspection, and collaboration with production to ensure parts meet customer specifications and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate CMM machines - Mitutoyo CRYSTA-APEX
• Develop and optimize CMM programs
• Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) and in-process inspection
• Interpret engineering drawings
• Generate inspection reports

Scope of Authority

• Maintain calibration and basic upkeep of CMM equipment
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues
• Support internal and external audits (ISO, customer audits)

Competency Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years experience in CMM operation and programming
• Experience using Mitutoyo Machine only.
• Strong knowledge of engineering drawings
• Hands-on experience with CMM software MiCAT.
• Experience in precision machining preferred
• Ability to work independently and under tight timelines
• Good problem-solving and communication skills
• Advantage: Experience in offline programming/ Knowledge of CNC machining processes/ Experience handling tight tolerance parts (< ±0.01mm)

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
