Full Time Purchasing - Cost Engineering Engineer Jobs, Salary up to MYR 5,000 in Boon Siew Honda Pulau Pinang - Maukerja

Job Descriptions

• Involve in parts costing strategy and synchronize with global direction.
• Request for Quotation (RFQ) & review supplier quotation and cost analysis before proposing to management.
• Propose Maker layout during evaluation based on Quality, Cost, Delivery judgement.
• Performed Audit at supplier premises.
• Prepare cost analysis and Value Analysis Value Engineering (VAVE) for new model development and mass production part.
• Source & develop local suppliers as parts of localization activities.
• Reflect & update latest cost based on exchange rate fluctuation, trend & perform analysis on changes.
• Negotiate with suppliers to meet reasonable parts cost target.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chains, and any related field.
• Able to read and understand engineering/technical 2D drawing.
• At least 2 years working experience as Procurement/Purchasing/Sourcing/Costing Engineer or Technical Buyer. Experience in Automotive Industry is an added advantage.
• Possess valid driving license and able to travel as and when required.
• Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Proven skills for Project Management in current employment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
