Role Description The Senior Executive Purchase is a full-time, on-site role based in Johore, Malaysia. This position is responsible for managing end-to-end purchasing activities, including sourcing suppliers, obtaining quotations, negotiating pricing and terms, and issuing purchase orders for raw materials, tooling, and services. The role involves monitoring inventory levels, coordinating with production and engineering teams to ensure timely material availability, and maintaining accurate purchasing records. The Senior Executive Purchase will evaluate supplier performance, support vendor selection and approval, and ensure compliance with company policies and quality standards. Day-to-day tasks also include resolving supply issues, optimizing purchasing costs, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives in the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Strong purchasing and procurement skills, including supplier sourcing, negotiation, and contract management.
• Experience in manufacturing or precision engineering environments, preferably with metal parts or die casting operations.
• Ability to manage inventory, analyze cost structures, and support budget control and cost-saving initiatives.
• Proficiency with ERP or purchasing systems, MS Office applications, and basic data analysis for purchasing decisions.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and vendor relationship skills.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Relevant experience in a similar purchasing or supply chain role; leadership experience at senior executive level is an advantage.
