The Role
A varied and technically demanding position where your decisions directly influence plant performance - here is what the role involves:
- Overseeing day-to-day electrical maintenance and plant operations to maximise uptime
- Maintaining, inspecting, and troubleshooting HT, MV, LV, and ELV systems, switchgear, and motors
- Driving preventive maintenance programmes to reduce unplanned downtime
- Managing maintenance budgets, resources, and CAPEX proposals
- Overseeing scheduled servicing, testing, and calibration of plant electrical equipment
- Providing technical engineering support to improve safety, efficiency, and productivity
- Ensuring all activities meet safety, food safety, GMP, and Halal compliance standards
Strong technical credentials combined with a collaborative and safety-conscious mindset - here is the profile we have in mind:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, Automation, or a related engineering discipline
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proven knowledge of HT/MV/LV/ELV systems, switchgear, breakers, and motors
- A background in food or beverage manufacturing is a distinct advantage
- Familiarity with PLC, automation, or instrumentation systems is beneficial
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
