Full Time Purchasing Senior Executive Jobs, in MeHow Medical (M) Pulau Pinang - Maukerja

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement plans based on company projects and business needs.
• Handle requests for quotations (RFQs), comparative bidding, price negotiation, and contract negotiation.
• Monitor order execution processes, oversee delivery schedules, quality and quantity, and ensure timely delivery.
• Manage and submit procurement documents, contracts and related records, ensuring compliance and traceability.
• Control procurement cost, analyse cost structures, and propose cost-reduction and optimization plans.
• Prepare regular procurement cost analysis reports.
• Participate in the company’s annual procurement budgeting.
• Assist with day-to-day procurement department management tasks.
• Coordinate with cross-functional departments to ensure timely and compliant material supply.
• Manage and respond to unexpected procurement issues and internal changes in requirements.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in purchasing/procurement
• Experience in handling supplier quotations, price negotiations, cost analysis, and market price monitoring.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify cost-saving opportunities
• Understanding of supplier selection and evaluation, including assessing supplier capabilities, quality, cost, capacity, and delivery performance.
• Good negotiation skills with the ability to negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, quality requirements with suppliers.
• Preferably from a similar industry within the manufacturing sector or medical sector
