Job Description
Responsibilities
- Responsible for sales and marketing of all VA products in Marine, onshore and offshore industries
- Review and work with Group General Manager on sales enquiries for the estimating team to generate the sales proposals and quotations and ensure that the specifications offered to our customers are within the scope of the company
- Ensure that sales targets are met
- Maintain excellent relations with clients and understand their needs
- Ensure that customer requirement is adequately conveyed to the Project & Engineering and Accounts Department
- Support Sales team in products sourcing
- Provide coaching and guidance to the Sales Team on securing order
- Supervise and monitor Sales Team’s performance to help ensure consistent quality on delivery services
- Liaise with product’s principal on cost reduction programme for manufactured materials & overall performance cost
- Oversee co-ordination within department on relevant operating procedures and make suggestions for improvement relating to the Sales Team
- Prepare sales plan and pipeline for MD/GGM
- Monitor sales proposal submission
- Initial Customer complaint report to ensure that all complaints are properly and efficiently dealt with
- Conduct annual appraisal exercise for the Sales Team
- Conduct Sales meeting and meeting with MD/GGM
