Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Materials Buyer role based in Perai. The Materials Buyer is responsible for purchasing materials and components required for production, ensuring timely availability and cost-effectiveness. Day-to-day tasks include issuing and managing purchase orders, monitoring inventory levels, coordinating with suppliers, and resolving delivery issues. The role involves analyzing material requirements from production schedules and maintaining accurate procurement records. The Materials Buyer will also collaborate with internal departments such as production, finance, and quality to support smooth manufacturing operations and continuous improvement in the supply chain.

Candidates should possess strong analytical skills to interpret material requirements, cost data and supplier performance metrics. They should also have effective communication skills for coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

A diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering or a related field is preferred.
