About the role

Junior Engineer – Collaboration & AI Tools & Systems Support to provide end-user technical support for enterprise collaboration, productivity, file-sharing, and AI tools across the Asia-Pacific region. The ideal candidate should be customer/user focused, technically inclined, willing to learn new technologies, and comfortable interacting directly with users to understand and resolve their issues.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, pick up, and resolve support tickets related to collaboration, productivity, and AI tools.
• Contact and work directly with users across the Asia-Pacific region to understand issues, troubleshoot problems, and provide timely resolution.
• Provide user support for tools and platforms such as Microsoft 365, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise, Claude / Claude Cowork, Egnyte, and other enterprise collaboration, productivity, and file-sharing tools.
• Troubleshoot user access, configuration, application usage and functional/technical issues.
• Escalate complex issues to appropriate technical teams or vendors and work for resolution.
• Maintain accurate ticket updates, resolution notes, and basic support documentation.
• Learn & support additional AI and collaboration tools within the organization.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience in IT support, application support, service desk, or end-user support.
• Basic familiarity with Microsoft 365 and enterprise collaboration tools.
• Experience with Generative AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise, and Claude.
• Strong customer-service orientation with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness and ability to quickly learn new applications and technologies.
• Ability to communicate effectively with users across different countries and cultures within the Asia-Pacific region.
• Must be located in Penang, Malaysia, or willing to relocate, and able to work from the office.

Pay: RM1,777.83 - RM5,558.07 per month
