Responsibilities

Position Summary:

Our attractions receive high volumes of transactions daily from exhilarated guest from all over the world. Working within our busy Cash Office team, you will process and assist with daily cash control of the Legoland Malaysia Resort. Cash processing, reconciliation and banking procedures all form a vital part of this role as does performing daily safe counts and assisting with daily reconciliation of cash takings from our attractions.

Scope and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the integrity of the cash room and the highest standards of accurate and efficient cash handling procedures are followed.
  • Ensure that all voucher redemptions, cash receipts, and reports are recorded and reconciled on a daily basis.
  • Document, investigate and report overages and shortfalls according to Merlin Entertainments, plc cash handling guidelines.
  • Adhering to all cash handling procedures and our company fraud policy.
  • Maintain, verify, and balance cash takings, including accurate and proper trail balancing throughout the day.
  • Maintain a cash safe environment at all times
  • Ensure all cash office areas are maintained and kept in a clean and tidy manner throughout the day.
  • Follow opening and closing procedures as detailed in the department’s operating plan.
  • Updating all paperwork (spreadsheets and logs) to keep a robust audit trail of all cash office activity.
  • Ensure at all times to deliver the highest level of customer service to internal and external partners, clients, suppliers, and guests.
  • To do any reasonable duty as detailed by the Management team of the attraction.

Background and Experience:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a cash handling role; banking experiences a plus.
  • Strong math and excellent cash handling skills.
  • High level of accuracy
  • Bring an energetic and positive approach, a ‘can do and can change’ attitude
  • Keen eye for detail and exceptional organization skills.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently.
  • Able to work to strict deadlines
  • Provide support to Cash Office Manager / Executive by delivering ad hoc tasks as required.
  • Have an outstanding level of honesty and integrity coupled with excellent communication skills.
  • Must be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts

Education:

Diploma in Banking/Accounts/ Finance or equivalent

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
