Full Time QAQC Operator (In-Process) Jobs, Salary up to MYR 2,300 in Rectifier Technologies (M) Johor - Maukerja

To perform in-process quality inspections during the production process to ensure products are manufactured according to approved specifications, work instructions, drawings and quality requirements. The IPQC Operator is responsible for identifying and reporting defects or process abnormalities at an early stage to prevent non-conforming products from proceeding to the next production process.

Key Responsibilities

1. Review Inspection Requirements

• Refer to approved work instructions, product specifications, drawings, inspection criteria and applicable quality standards before conducting inspection.
• Understand the inspection points and acceptance criteria for the assigned production process.
• Refer to the relevant inspection sampling requirements where applicable.

2. Conduct In-Process Inspection

• Perform inspection at designated production stages according to the established inspection plan.
• Inspect products/components for workmanship, dimensions, component placement, quantity, appearance and other specified quality requirements.
• Verify that components, materials and parts used during production comply with the approved specifications.
• Conduct first-piece inspection or process verification where required before continuing mass production.
• Perform random or sampling inspections during production to ensure consistent product quality.

3. Inspect PCBA / Assembly Quality

• Inspect PCBA and assemblies based on approved drawings, specifications and inspection criteria.
• Check component placement, component quantity, component value and orientation where applicable.
• Inspect soldering quality for defects such as insufficient solder, excessive solder, solder bridges, poor solder joints or other visible abnormalities.
• Check for missing, incorrect, damaged or improperly installed components.
• Perform visual inspection for scratches, loose parts, contamination, damage and other workmanship defects.

4. Identify and Control Non-Conforming Products

• Identify and report defective or non-conforming products immediately to the relevant Production Supervisor / QA/QC personnel.
• Segregate or identify non-conforming products to prevent unintended use or movement to the next process.
• Place appropriate identification tags or labels on rejected/hold items where required.
• Verify reworked products after corrective action or rework has been completed.
• Escalate recurring or critical quality issues to the QA/QC Supervisor or Engineer.

5. Monitor Production Process

• Monitor production activities to ensure operators follow approved work instructions and quality requirements.
• Verify that the correct materials, components, tools and equipment are being used.
• Highlight process abnormalities that may affect product quality.
• Work closely with Production personnel to identify the possible source of defects.

6. Inspection Records and Documentation

• Record inspection results accurately in the relevant inspection forms, checklists or quality records.
• Maintain records of defects, rejected quantities, rework and inspection findings.
• Ensure inspection records are complete, accurate and traceable.
• Report significant quality issues or abnormal findings to the QA/QC Supervisor.

7. Support Corrective Actions

• Assist QA/QC personnel in investigating recurring defects and quality problems.
• Provide inspection findings and defect information to support root-cause investigation.
• Re-inspect products following corrective or preventive actions when required.
• Monitor the effectiveness of corrective actions at the production floor.

8. Maintain Quality and Safety Standards

• Follow company quality procedures, work instructions and applicable manufacturing standards.
• Maintain good housekeeping and 5S practices at the inspection area.
• Handle inspection equipment and materials properly.
• Comply with company safety rules and requirements at all times.

Job Requirements

Education

• Minimum SPM / SKM / Certificate or equivalent.
• Technical or manufacturing-related qualification is an advantage.

Experience

• Previous experience in manufacturing, quality inspection, PCBA, assembly or electronics production is an advantage.
• Fresh candidates with relevant technical knowledge may be considered.

Technical Skills

• Basic understanding of manufacturing and quality inspection processes.
• Ability to read and understand basic drawings, specifications and work instructions.
• Ability to identify common workmanship and assembly defects.
• Basic knowledge of PCBA components and soldering quality is an advantage.
• Basic computer and documentation skills.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,300.00 per month
