Full Time Senior Operations Manager - Manufacturing Jobs, in Mason & Co Johor - Maukerja

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Operations Manager to lead the overall daily operations of a manufacturing plant. This role will oversee production, logistics, planning, maintenance, facilities and related operational functions, with a strong focus on productivity, cost efficiency, quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end manufacturing operations to achieve efficient production output.
• Lead and manage production, logistics, planning, maintenance and facility teams.
• Plan manpower, materials, equipment and resources to meet production requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement, process optimization and productivity initiatives.
• Monitor operational costs, budgets and resource utilization.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and improvement activities to minimize downtime.
• Identify operational issues, conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with quality, health, safety and regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with QA and other functions to maintain product quality and operational standards.
• Manage contractors, suppliers and vendors to support smooth plant operations.
• Lead, coach and develop managers, supervisors and operational teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, Engineering or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, preferably within a multinational company.
• Strong experience managing large manufacturing teams, including managers and supervisors.
• Proven track record in process improvement, production optimization and operational excellence.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and 5S principles.
• Hands-on experience with 8D problem-solving and root cause analysis.
• Strong technical, project management and problem-solving capabilities.
• Able to work independently and make timely decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
