We are looking for an Application Engineer – Manufacturing Solutions to join our team and help manufacturers improve their design-to-manufacturing processes, productivity and operational efficiency through the right technology and application solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand customers’ engineering and manufacturing challenges, processes and requirements, and recommend suitable technology solutions.
- Work closely with Sales to develop customer opportunities through technical consultation, solution proposals, demonstrations and proof-of-concepts.
- Conduct customer visits, technical presentations, workshops and application demonstrations to showcase practical solutions and their value.
- Support solution evaluation, implementation and customer adoption, working with our team and technology partners where required.
- Build strong relationships with customers and provide ongoing technical consultation to support their evolving engineering and manufacturing needs.
- Identify opportunities to apply technology to customer challenges and work with the team to develop them into successful solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in engineering, manufacturing, application engineering, technical consulting or a related field.
- Good understanding of design-to-manufacturing processes and manufacturing operations.
- Good understanding of engineering and manufacturing software; experience with relevant engineering software is an advantage.
- Strong communication, presentation, analytical and problem-solving skills, with confidence in engaging customers.
- Proactive, willing to learn and able to translate technical knowledge into practical solutions.
- Willing to travel for customer visits, demonstrations, workshops and projects when required.
