Full Time Senior Electrician Jobs, Salary up to MYR 4,000 in Talent Corp Sarawak - Maukerja

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and carry out electrical installation, maintenance, inspection, testing, and repair works.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical faults and equipment failures.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, single-line diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Inspect electrical installations to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with approved standards.
• Test electrical circuits, equipment, protection devices, and control systems using appropriate testing instruments.
• Supervise and provide technical guidance to electricians, technicians, and subcontractors.
• Plan and coordinate daily electrical maintenance and installation activities.
• Ensure work is completed according to approved procedures, schedules, and quality requirements.
• Identify potential electrical hazards and implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
• Carry out electrical isolation, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and safe work procedures as required.
• Maintain records of inspections, testing, maintenance, repairs, and equipment conditions.
• Assist with electrical projects, equipment upgrades, modifications, and commissioning activities.
• Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, contractors, and other departments to resolve technical issues.
• Monitor the condition and performance of electrical equipment and recommend improvements or replacements.
• Ensure proper use, care, and maintenance of electrical tools, equipment, and PPE.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Respond to electrical emergencies and breakdowns when required.
• Ensure all work complies with company HSE policies and applicable statutory requirements.

Requirements

• Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Installation, or a related field.
• Relevant electrical competency certification/licence as required by local regulations.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant electrical experience, preferably with experience in a senior or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of electrical installation, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and single-line diagrams.
• Experience with electrical distribution systems, control panels, motors, generators, and protection systems is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of electrical safety requirements and safe working practices.
• Experience supervising electricians, technicians, or contractors.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and lead a team effectively.
• Willing to work overtime, shifts, weekends, or respond to emergency breakdowns when required.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
