Role Description The Building and Construction Management Intern role is an on-site internship based in Puchong. Interns will assist in planning, coordinating, and monitoring building and construction activities, including site inspections, progress tracking, and reporting. Responsibilities may include supporting project documentation, compiling daily and weekly site reports, and ensuring records are accurate and up to date. The intern will work closely with project managers, consultants, and contractors to help maintain timelines, quality standards, and compliance with safety guidelines. The role also involves assisting with basic cost tracking, material coordination, and administrative support related to construction and property management projects.
Qualifications
- Strong interest in building, construction management, and property development, with basic knowledge of construction processes and terminology.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and the ability to prepare clear reports and documentation.
- Good analytical, organizational, and time management skills, with attention to detail in site observations and record-keeping.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with project teams, consultants, and contractors on-site.
- Ability to work on-site in Puchong, adapt to a fast-paced environment, and follow safety procedures and company policies.
- Currently pursuing a diploma or degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Willingness to learn, take initiative, and demonstrate professionalism and ethical conduct in all work assignments.
