Job Description

Top Global Central Kitchen is looking for a motivated R&D Intern to support our Research & Development team in food product development, recipe improvement, product testing, and documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the R&D team in developing and improving food products and recipes.
• Assist in product trials, sample preparation, and sensory evaluation.
• Record trial results, ingredients, formulations, and product specifications.
• Assist in testing new ingredients and evaluating alternative raw materials.
• Support recipe standardisation and preparation of product documentation.
• Assist in monitoring product quality, taste, texture, appearance, and consistency.
• Coordinate with Production, QC/QA, Procurement, and other departments when required.
• Ensure R&D activities comply with food safety, hygiene, Halal, and GMP requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the R&D kitchen/work area.
• Perform other R&D-related tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Culinary Arts, Food Innovation, or related field.
• Interested in food product development and innovation.
• Creative, detail-oriented, and willing to learn.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene is an advantage.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Fresh students with no working experience are encouraged to apply.
