Job Summary
Responsible for overseeing electrical work at construction sites and ensuring compliance with technical standards and safety regulations. The role involves managing the installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems, coordinating with other engineering disciplines, and resolving any issues during the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage electrical installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities at project sites.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure project completion on time.
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, and resources to meet performance targets.
- Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with safety codes, standards, and regulations.
- Evaluate and approve electrical materials and subcontractor works.
- Prepare progress reports, method statements, and handover documentation.
- Support tender preparation, cost estimation, and technical evaluation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to electrical systems.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in construction, building services, or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical design, UPS, LV, MV, lighting, and power distribution systems.
- Familiar with local electrical codes, MS/IEC standards, and safety regulations.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project, and electrical design software.
- Good project management, coordination, and communication skills.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documents.
- Candidate with Electrical background is an advantage.
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
