Job Summary
The Operator is responsible for operating machinery and equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring production targets and quality standards are achieved. The Operator must follow work instructions, safety procedures, and company policies while maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate machinery and equipment according to standard operating procedures (SOP).
- Monitor machine performance and production output.
- Perform basic machine setup, adjustments, and changeovers when required.
- Inspect products to ensure they meet quality specifications.
- Identify and report machine problems, defects, or abnormal conditions to the Supervisor or Maintenance team.
- Record production quantities, downtime, quality issues, and other required information.
- Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping around the workstation.
- Follow all safety rules, procedures, and PPE requirements.
- Assist with routine machine cleaning and basic maintenance activities.
- Meet daily production, quality, and efficiency targets.
- Support other production activities as assigned by the Supervisor.
Requirements
- Minimum SPM/O-Level or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience as a machine/production operator is an advantage.
- Able to operate machinery and follow written or verbal instructions.
- Basic understanding of workplace safety and quality requirements.
- Physically fit and able to work in a production environment.
- Willing to work shifts, overtime, weekends, or public holidays when required.
- Good attendance, discipline, teamwork, and communication skills.
Pay: From RM1,700.00 per month
