Full Time Investment Consultant, Region Johor - Melaka (JM) Jobs, in Maybank Johor - Maukerja

Responsibilities

•Drive the Region’s investment strategy by providing holistic, needs-based investment advisory services to Premier Wealth clients, supporting long-term wealth creation and portfolio growth.

•Partner with Relationship Managers (RMs) in client engagements to deliver investment advice, including asset allocation, portfolio reviews, and rebalancing recommendations aligned to clients’ goals and risk profiles.

•Serve as the region’s investment subject matter expert, providing guidance on market developments, investment solutions, product knowledge, and portfolio strategies.

•Promote quality investment advisory practices and deepen client investment engagement through proactive portfolio monitoring and advisory interventions.

•Coach and develop RMs’ investment advisory capabilities through training, market and product updates, joint client engagements, and ongoing mentoring.

•Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, suitability standards, and governance frameworks in all investment advisory activities.

Requirements

•Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree or Master's Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.

•CFP qualified will be an added advantage.

•Minimum 5 years’ experience in banking with solid knowledge in sales and marketing of investment related products e.g. Unit Trust, Structured Deposit, Dual Currency Linked Investment, Equity Linked Investment and Retail Investment Bonds.

•Experience in managing and supporting the distribution channels will be an added advantage.

•Good interpersonal skills and able to interact with people at all levels.
