Pepper Western is a food and beverage company located in Bayan Baru, Penang, specializing in serving quality and affordable Western cuisine to local customers. The restaurant focuses on providing delicious meals, comfortable dining experiences, and friendly customer service for families, working professionals, students, and food enthusiasts in the Penang community.

Responsibilities / Task :

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including coffee, tea, juices, and specialty drinks according to company standards.
• Operate coffee machines, grinders, and beverage equipment properly.
• Ensure consistency in beverage quality, taste, and presentation.
• Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the beverage station, equipment, and work area.
• Perform daily preparation tasks including checking ingredients, refilling supplies, and organizing the bar area.
• Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other beverage ingredients.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of beverages and ingredients according to food safety standards.
• Deliver friendly and professional customer service.
• Handle customer feedback and requests professionally.
• Support restaurant operations including serving customers, cashier duties, and teamwork with service crew when required.
• Follow company SOPs, food safety guidelines, and workplace cleanliness standards.

Requirements :

• Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience as a Barista, Beverage Crew, or F&B Service Crew is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Training will be provided for candidates with the right attitude and willingness to learn.
• Skills & Knowledge
• Basic knowledge of coffee preparation and beverage making.
• Ability to operate coffee machines and beverage equipment.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Attention to detail in beverage preparation and presentation.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices is an advantage.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Able to stand for long periods and perform restaurant duties.
• Possess own transportation is an advantage.
• Able to work in Bayan Baru, Penang.
