Job Purpose
To lead and execute hands-on assembly operations, ensuring product quality, efficiency, and compliance with VAT Manufacturing’s standards. The role involves assembly processes, troubleshooting technical issues, and mentoring junior assembler to strengthen operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on assembly of vacuum valve components and related products according to engineering specifications and work instructions.
- Lead assembly line activities, ensuring adherence to productivity, quality, and safety standards.
- Conduct troubleshooting and corrective actions for assembly-related issues.
- Support process improvements and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Train, coach, and guide junior assemblers to enhance team competency.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve technical challenges.
- Ensure proper documentation of assembly processes, test results, and quality checks.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and workstations in optimal condition.
Requirements
- Diploma/Certificate/ SKM in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent technical qualification.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in assembly operations, preferably in manufacturing or precision engineering.
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical assembly processes, tools, and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
- Proven leadership skills with experience in guiding and mentoring technicians.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement methods is an added advantage.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
