Job Description

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update employees’ master data, staff movement, employee records and confidential HR documentation in the HRIS/Payroll system, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date.
  • Manage employee attendance, shift rosters, leave records and leave balances in the HRIS, ensuring accurate and timely updates.
  • Manage and administer monthly payroll processing for workers, including salary, overtime, deductions and applicable allowances, ensuring payroll data is accurately captured, processed on time and verified by the Superior.
  • Manage the overtime process, including preparation and timely submission/approval of overtime forecasts, updating and verifying e-Overtime and online OT submissions prior to monthly payroll processing.
  • Generate monthly payroll reports and analysis for the Superior’s review, including reports relating to payroll, overtime, allowances and other relevant payroll information.
  • Handle payroll matters relating to Union employees and Collective Agreements, including the interpretation and application of relevant provisions relating to salary, allowances, overtime and employee benefits.
  • Liaise with SOCSO/PERKESO on employee SOCSO claims and provide the necessary documentation, information and support.
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies, Employment Laws, statutory requirements, Collective Agreements and company policies, particularly in relation to working hours, overtime, rest days, public holidays and employee benefits.
  • Support HR and payroll audits by ensuring relevant records, payroll documentation and supporting documents are complete, accurate, properly maintained and readily available for audit purposes.
  • Support the implementation and improvement of HR policies, procedures and systems to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of HR operations, as directed by the Superior or Head of HR.
  • Perform other HR-related duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Superior or Head of HR from time to time.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related field.
  • 2–3 years of relevant experience in HR and payroll administration.
  • Good knowledge of payroll processing, overtime, allowances, deductions and statutory requirements.
  • Proficient in HRIS/Payroll systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Good understanding of Employment Act, Labour Regulations and statutory requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail, numerical and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, organized and able to manage multiple HR/payroll activities effectively.

Pay: RM3,800.00 - RM4,300.00 per month
